| BLUEGRASS | ||
| 0209 | Sonic KY. Bluegrass 50-lb Sonic is a moderately dark green Kentucky bluegrass variety classified as a Common type of improved Kentucky bluegrass that exhibits early spring green-up, fine leaf texture and the fastest establishment speed of Kentucky bluegrass varieties. It is a cold hardy, persistent, attractive grass that through the development of an extensive rhizome system forms a well-knit, durable sod. It is adapted to a wide range of soils and climatic conditions. |

| 0225 | Kentucky 31 50-lb. 95% is one of the older "proven" varieties with a light green, coarse texture. K-31 remains popular still because of it's good overall usage qualities (drought / wear / easy establishment). This variety selection is not usually used on the finest turfgrass lawns, but it is ideal for average lawn use. |

| 0236 | Falcon IV Turf Type 50 lb Falcon IV is a new and improved, heat and disease resistant, tall fescue variety developed for superior turf quality across a wide area of adaptation. It is dark green in color, fine textured with excellent wear tolerance. Falcon IV exhibits a unique combination of traits including dense growth, improved turf quality and resistance to brown patch incited by Rhizoctonia solani. Falcon IV is an endophyte enhanced tall fescue with >92% Neotyphodium coenophialum endophyte which provides resistance to a number of leaf and crown feeding insects and nematodes. The presence of endophyte also contribute to improved biotic and abiotic stress tolerance, faster seedling establishment, enhanced fall recover and reduced summer weed invasion. | |

| 0280 | Creeping Red Fescue 50-lb a fine bladed grass with medium to dark green color. Its major use is for dry shaded areas as either a pure stand or as a mixture in other turf blends. Even though it is one of the best grasses for use in shade... it still prefers and does well in full sun conditions. |

| 0232 | VIKING Hard Shade 50-lb Viking is similar in appearance to improved sheep and blue fescues, but has wider, tougher, less glaucus leaves and is more tolerant of higher fertility and moist soil conditions.Viking exhibits a distinct, deep-dark green, fine textured turf that spreads very slowly with basal tillering. It is also recognized as low maintenance, due in part to its low rate of vertical growth, which requires less frequent mowing than other species. Once fully established it requires little supplemental irrigation or fertilizer and tolerates acidic, infertile, shady planting sites. | |
| 0243 | Titan LTD Fescue 50-lb was specifically bred for rhizome growth Rhizomes spread out to bare spots and send out new shoots and roots which aid in quicker repair and the ongoing thickening of the turf stand., improved brown patch resistance, heat tolerance, and drought resistance. | |

Hard Fescue 50-lb Hard fescue is indeed one of the "hardiest" of the
fescues. Shade and drought resistant, and more disease resistant this
fescue grows best in the north and the higher elevations. Hard fescue
has blue-green color, and can grow in some of the most adverse of
conditions and in heavily shaded areas. Hard fescue grows in the clump
formations and may not be mown as low as the other fescues. Hard fescue
is one grass that stays green a longer period of time, is slow growing
and a low maintenance grass. Festuca trachyphylla (Hack.) Krajina, hard fescue, is a medium tall, semi-erect, long-lived, densely tufted bunchgrass. It is a large form of sheep fescue and closely related to Chewings fescue. It has broader, longer, coarser, more lax leaves than sheep fescue. It is more drought tolerant than Chewings fescue but not as hardy as native sheep fescues. It is a heavy root producer. This plus its abundant dense leaves and low crowns makes it an excellent erosion control plant. It is a good seed producer, but seedling vigor is low. |

| RYEGRASS | ||
| 0350 | Annual 50-lb is quick to germinate and is often used to overseed the warm-season grasses. Annual Ryegrass is lighter green and slightly coarser than perennial ryegrass. It is also less heat-tolerant than perennial. This could be an advantage for overseeding since Annual Ryegrass should disappear before it interferes with the growth of the warm season grass. Warm season grasses go dormant during the winter months and can be overseeded with a cool season grass variety to maintain green color and adequate quality. | |

| 0356 | Linn Perennial Certified 50-lb Linn Perennial is a basic level Perennial Ryegrass used for lawns, erosion control, lawn blends and basic pasture use. It is NOT an improved variety and does not make a high quality lawn or high quality forage. It will work fine for a general field or lawn use where the seed expense is more important than turf quality or forage production. | |
| BERMUDA GRASS | ||
| 0180 | Hulled Coated 50-lb Common bermuda is both naughty and nice. It aggressively invades flower and shrub beds and produces a huge, uncontrollable crop of seeds. On the plus side, common bermuda will persist for decades with little care, and it is a prime candidate for overseeding with perennial ryegrass if you want a "wintergreen" lawn. It can take heavy wear better than most other grasses. Common bermuda is green from late spring until frost and is light brown when it is dormant in winter. |
